Anyone currently using the Payeezy Global Gateway needs to switch to an alternate e-commerce payment gateway. Firserv, the company behind Payeezy, is discontinuing Payeezy and replacing it with the Clover payment platform.
From an email sent by Fiserv to Payeezy Global Gateway customers:
Congratulations, your Payeezy Global Gateway account is getting an upgrade! We are excited to inform you that Fiserv, formerly First Data, will be upgrading your Payeezy Global Gateway account to a Clover payment platform account.
Our award-winning Clover payment platform offers enhanced fraud tools, expanded reporting, and the ability to respond directly to chargebacks on the platform. While enjoying the same core functionality of your Payeezy account, you will now have access to the features that Clover offers at no additional cost.
Unfortunately, none of the Payeezy WordPress plugins I created are compatible with the Clover payment platform. These include:
- WP Payeezy Pay
- Payeezy Payment
- Payeezy Donate
- WP Payeezy Results
I have also created custom applications for clients using the Payeezy Global Gateway. Those are also not compatible with the Clover payment platform.

If I had more information about this, I would share it. Regrettably, the only information I have about this change has come from clients who were kind enough to share their information with me. Nothing about this change appears on the Payeezy Developer Resource page.
As soon as I confirmed Firsv was replacing Payeezy with Clover, I stopped selling premium WordPress Payeezy plugins on this website.
